About

Manirere is an Agricultural Economist with expertise in farming systems and rural development. He has extensive experience supporting small-scale rural farmers, strengthening cooperatives, expanding rural finance, and promoting knowledge-sharing initiatives. He has successfully managed agribusiness programmes, led value chain improvements, and facilitated the introduction of biofortified crops, including serving as the first Country Manager of HarvestPlus in Rwanda. He is a research in the area of food systems, policy analysis and community nutrition and regenerative  agriculture.
