Working Groups

Working Groups focus on mapping evidence within specific research areas and engaging with related policy issues. They also provide technical support to national Communities of Policy and Practice, helping to strengthen country-level action and evidence.

Gender

This Working Group explores how gender dynamics shape access to and availability of resources and decision-making power within regenerative food systems. It seeks to integrate gender transformative approaches that promote equity and empowerment from food systems policymaking to production and consumption.

Regenerative agriculture

Focusing on practices that restore soil health, increase biodiversity, and enhance ecosystem resilience, this group synthesises evidence on agroecological methods such as cover cropping, crop diversification, and reduced tillage. It supports the design of regenerative strategies that improve productivity while mitigating climate impacts.

This group examines the interactions between agricultural practices and natural ecosystems, emphasising biodiversity conservation and habitat restoration within food systems.
